Choir

5TH AND 6TH GRADE

Training will focus on sight reading, rhythm, and the identification along with the matching of pitch and harmony. The students perform in a Christmas and spring concert.

MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL

MCS has four choirs that allow students the opportunity to use their talent in vocal music and continue their instruction in proper techniques of vocal performance. 7th & 8th grade combined choir, High School Choir, and Chamber Singers. Each group presents concerts throughout the year showcasing a variety of repertoire including sacred music, standard choral literature, and seasonal music.

In the past few years, the high school choirs have participated in various choral competitions and have received top honors. Students have performed at Capital University, ACSI Music Festivals, and multiple nursing homes.
