3-Day Preschool Requirements
- Ages 3 to 4 -- Must be 3 years old by August 1
- Fully potty trained (no "pull-ups")
Meeting Times
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
What to Expect
- Maximum of 15 students with 2 teachers present
- Best practices utilized in the classroom
- Children will learn to:
- Count items 1-20 with one-on-one correspondence
- Identify 10 numerals
- Identify upper and lower case letters
- Write upper and lower case letters
- Review shapes and colors
- Color with more than one shade and stay within the lines
- Use scissors correctly
- Write their first name
- Learn about the 5 senses
- Learn in a structured environment
- Introduce money
- Understand relationship of words (same/opposite)
- Introduce Bible characters/heroes
- Play time and peer interaction
- Clean, safe environment
