Summer Camps 2023
Are you looking for something educational and fun for your elementary Eagle to do over summer vacation? Send them to MCS for Summer Splash!
Summer Splash is a 5-week holistic summer experience for MCS students enrolled in 1st through 6th grade for 2023-2024 that focuses on phonics, reading and math enrichment, physical activities, games, sports, and social-emotional learning in group environments. There will be a scriptural focus in all activities. The program will be run and supervised by MCS administrators and teachers, and staff.
Weeks:
Each week will be a stand-alone week and students may choose which week(s) they attend.
June 5-9: Nature Week
June 12-16: Down on the Farm
June 19-23: Around the World
June 26-30: CLOSED
July 3-7: CLOSED
July 10-14: Make a Splash
July 17-24: Spirit Week (Mixed-up Monday, Twisted Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, Camp Spirit Friday)
Daily Schedule:
8:00 am - 11:30 am: Academic Activities (Phonics, Reading, Math)
11:30 am -12:20 pm: Lunch and Recess (Students will need to bring a packed, non-microwave lunch.)
12:20 pm - 3:00 pm: Physically Active and/or Fine Arts Activities
One day of the week will be a field trip!
Cost:
The cost is $225 per student per week. There is no daily rate and no refunds for students missing days or parts of days. Students who attend all five weeks will enjoy a special rate of $1000 for the 5-week program.
