ACCREDITATIONS

Madison Christian School in Groveport, Ohio received full accreditation by the Association of Christian Schools International and Cognia following a rigorous preparatory and evaluative process.

Madison Christian School enrolls 545+ students, in grades Preschool through 12th grade.

The school was founded in 1978 with a distinctive mission to partner with parents and churches to lead students toward God, scripturally educating the whole person spiritually, academically, emotionally, socially, and physically to become strong Christian leaders.

Madison Christian School has defined its purpose: to glorify God and to nurture His children by providing a unique educational environment that combines high academic standards with God’s Word of Truth in an atmosphere of love.

The ACSI and Cognia accreditation provides a national benchmark for schools, measuring standards, performance, integrity and quality. Schools engage in a voluntary process of self-evaluation against nationally accepted best practices and standards. This evaluative process scrutinizes the following areas: Christian philosophy and foundations, board governance, administrative personnel, instructional program, physical environment, health and safety, guidance services, family, community and student support. The accreditation process assists schools in achieving a standard of excellence and encourages a continuous process of assessment and ongoing school improvement.

ACSI accreditation is formally recognized and approved by the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), as well as a number of state and non-public school state accrediting agencies. ACSI provides programs and services to strengthen and equip its 5,300 member schools in over 100 nations.

ACSI has also written accreditation agreements with the various regional accrediting bodies: Cognia, Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA), Northwest Association of Accredited School, New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
