The Madison Christian School High School Girls and Boys Basketball Teams invite the community to the Eagles for a Cause Walk-A-Thon.
The event will benefit Bridgeway Academy, a nonprofit therapy and education center for children with autism. All proceeds from the event will support children with autism and developmental disabilities in central Ohio.
Participants can "strive for five" laps or participate in a way that works for them and their families. All are welcome! The outdoor track is enclosed in Bridgeway Academy's gated playground area and Thrive Nutrition – Obetz will have herbal teas for participants. In case of inclement weather, the event will take place indoors.
Each athletic team is asked to have an Eagles for a Cause project during their season. “For years, our teams have been doing service projects together during their respective seasons,” explains MCS Athletic Director Andy Scholz. “Eagles for a Cause is an intentional way for our teams to align under one title as they serve the community through various projects.”
