Athletics Openings:

Coaching Positions (Middle School & High School)
Madison Christian School seeks coaches who desire to impact students through athletics and to help them become strong Christian leaders. All interested candidates must have or be able to obtain all ODE/OHSAA certifications. All MCS coaches are required to have a current Pupil Activity Permit through the Ohio Department of Education. Faculty Openings:

Math and Science Teacher | Middle School
Madison Christian School is seeking a middle school math and science teacher, with a focus on the Saxon Math program. In addition to academic content, teachers focus on leading students toward the truth of Christ, creating an atmosphere of structure and attainable challenge for the students, as well as partnering with the parents to develop strong Christian leaders. The teacher should have upper elementary/middle school math knowledge, be willing to develop their pedagogical knowledge of classical Christian education, and be involved in working with the team in the ministry for our students.
 
 
3rd Grade Teacher
Madison Christian School is seeking a 3rd grade teacher. This teacher is responsible for instruction of 3rd grade students by creating engaging lesson plans, leading students toward the truth of Christ, creating an atmosphere of structure and comfort for the students, as well as partnering with the parents to develop strong Christian leaders. The teacher should have a strong phonics and reading instruction background, willing to develop their pedagogical knowledge of classical Christian education, and be involved in working with the 3rd grade team in the ministry for our students.
 
 
Humanities Teacher
Madison Christian School is seeking a Humanities teacher, with a focus on English, Western Civilization and American history and literature, for middle school and/or high school students. This teacher is responsible for instruction of students in grammar, writing, reading, literacy, and history. Teachers focus on leading students toward the truth of Christ, creating an atmosphere of structure and comfort for the students, as well as partnering with the parents to develop strong Christian leaders. The teacher should have strong English skills, embrace learning a body of literature and ideas from the western civilization, be willing to develop their pedagogical knowledge of classical Christian education, and be involved in working with the team in the ministry for our students.
 
 
Math Teacher | High School Math and Statistics
Madison Christian School is seeking an upper level math teacher for the 2023-24 school year. Madison Christian School teaches all subjects through a biblical lens. The teacher filling this position will provide instruction in statistics and upper level math, including algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus. The ideal candidate would present engaging lessons within a classical Christian model leading to student mastery. Experience in logic is beneficial, but not mandatory.
 
 
Latin Teacher
Madison Christian School is seeking a Latin teacher, teaching middle school through high school Latin classes. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Latin, specifically with a focus on Latin grammar. The goal of our Latin program is to teach to mastery, rather than give exposure. Our focus is on grammar concepts, reading, and writing. The teacher would develop and implement effective lessons that embody classical teaching principles, helping students develop a passion for learning. The school currently uses the Memoria Press Form series. Further training in upper levels of Latin could be provided if the candidate was comfortable with beginning levels.

Substitute Teachers
Madison Christian School is actively seeking substitute teachers who are committed to Christian education and who desire to serve at a vibrant and growing Christian school in the suburbs of Columbus, Ohio. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree (any), ODE Substitute License, and Background Check.

 

Staff Openings:

Facilities Team Members
Madison Christian School is looking for a reliable, dependable, and energetic person to join our facilities cleaning team. This position offers flexibility with shifts available in 2 to 8 hour increments for both weekdays and weekends. It could be a perfect second job opportunity for anyone needing to earn extra income. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Cleaning of entryways, hallways, classrooms, and offices, sanitizing restrooms and breakrooms, wiping touch point surfaces, vacuuming carpet, mopping and sweeping floors, and emptying waste containers.

Requirements: Cleaning or related experience preferred, clean background check, and have a reliable vehicle.
