On Nov. 23, Bring the Farm to You visited Madison Christian School where K-6th grade students experienced the Children's Homestead and various farm animals.
The students learned about life in the 1800s and what children played for games, how they did laundry, how they made cornmeal, and how they learned in school. The students were able to pet and ask questions about many farm animals including goats, sheep, rabbits, a pig, and a turkey!
Classes also gathered around the fire pit to warm up, sing songs, and enjoy a campfire snack.
