The 2022 Eagles for a Cause events were recently held for the Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball teams.
Eagles for a Cause was begun a few years ago to support an organization or a cause through our athletic programs, allowing our student-athletes to have a positive impact on our community. Athletic teams choose a cause to be highlighted and supported at one of the contests during their respective seasons. All proceeds (including game admission and t-shirt sales) from the event are donated to the selected organization.
The cause for the boys was sepsis awareness which supported the Begin Again Foundation. The cause for the girls was autism awareness which supported Bridgeway Academy. We are pleased to say that $1000 was raised for each!
