HS students learn CPR in Health class

In February (American Heart Month), high school students learned hands-only CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in Health class. If you perform CPR, you can triple the chance of a person's survival!

All MCS staff have a CPR info card and keychain CPR mask for their staff ID lanyards. Many staff are certified in CPR, and others are able to learn with our students each year. Additionally, all our buildings have AEDs that walk users through the steps of external defibrillation.

If you want to learn more about CPR, check out the American Heart Association for CPR community classes. Be prepared to save a life!
