NHS collecting items for Operation Christmas Child

The MCS National Honor Society (NHS) invites all MCS families to partner with them to send 300 shoeboxes to children in need through Operation Christian Child. Each year, Samaritan's Purse sends millions of shoeboxes around the world to share the love of Jesus in a tangible way through Operation Christmas Child.

The purpose of this project is to help children around the world by supplying them with some basic items for school, personal care, and enjoyment. Please see the below attachment for the donation categories and suggestions for each grade.

Donations will primarily be collected during the week of October 17-19 (the 20th & 21st are faculty professional days, meaning there will be no school). Any late donations should be brought in to either the elementary or high school offices by the end of October.

MCS and NHS greatly appreciate your help and support throughout this project! The children receiving these shoeboxes will experience the joy of the holiday season through the Christ-like love in the MCS community. We love to see us all coming together as a school community to reach and serve others worldwide!
