Madison Christian School reveals updated branding

Madison Christian School (MCS) is pleased to reveal its new school logos, athletic logos, and eagle mascot. A team from MCS worked together with local graphic designer and illustrator Kory Hubbell of HubbellArts over the last few months to develop the new trademarked branding.

“We are very excited to start implementing our new branding,” said MCS Marketing Director Rachel Fulks. “Our team was able to work closely with the designer to guide his process. Our main goal was to provide an updated look and consistency between all school branding.”

The school colors remain the same with a shift for blue, gray, and white to be the main school colors with yellow used only as an accent. Staying true to the school’s heritage, the original school crest elements remain with an updated look. The cross was changed to a classical cross shape to reflect the school’s emphasis on Christian education with a classical approach.

The new eagle is the biggest difference. The team from MCS desired a unique eagle that reflected the values of steadfast, majestic, virtuous, and forward-looking. The font used for “MADISON CHRISTIAN” has also been updated to the same font in Madison Christian Church’s logo to recognize the relationship between the church and school. Additionally, the school has added a new wordmark with “EAGLES” in a collegiate font.

"It was an honor to collaborate with a few of the leaders at Madison Christian on this rebranding project,” said designer Kory Hubbell. “Helping schools and universities elevate their athletic (and academic) branding through quality design is a passion of mine, and the core design committee at Madison Christian matched my desire to create an updated look for both current students and alumni that was clean and consistent. I'm really proud of the work we've done together, and am confident students and staff will be excited about an eagle that is truly one-of-a-kind. Go, Eagles!"

The community will start to see previous branding gradually be replaced as the school is able, or as items need to be updated.
