Eagles for a Cause was begun a few years ago for the purpose of supporting an organization or a cause through our athletic programs allowing our student-athletes to have a positive impact on our community. Athletic teams choose a cause to be highlighted and supported at one of the contests during their respective seasons. A portion of the proceeds from concessions and the t-shirt sales are donated to the organization.

HS Girls Basketball “Eagles for a Cause”
When: Tuesday, January 31 | Varsity Girls Basketball at MCS @6:00 PM vs. Grove City Christian
What: Support the Varsity Lady Eagles as they raise awareness for autism.
Why: To bring awareness to autism and to support Bridgeway Academy (located in Columbus).
Bridgeway Academy is a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire the potential and celebrate the ability of every child with many types of special needs and specifically autism.
How can you support?
- Attend the game
- Purchase a T-shirt ($15)
A portion of the proceeds will go to the “Bridgeway Academy” and provide many more opportunities for the children who attend there.
Order T-shirts from the MCS School Store by Sunday, January 22nd | 11:59 PM. Orders will be available for pick-up on January 30 or at the door prior to the game on January 31.
HS Boys Basketball “Eagles for a Cause”
When: Friday, February 3rd | JV/Varsity Boys Basketball
- JV @ 5:00 PM vs. Liberty Christian
- Varsity @ 6:30 PM vs. Liberty Christian
What: Support the HS Boys Basketball team as they raise awareness for sepsis.
Why: To bring awareness to sepsis and to support the Begin Again Foundation, whose mission is to save lives through sepsis and toxic shock syndrome education and awareness, provide financial assistance to survivors and families, and support communities during times of crisis.
How can you support?

- Purchase a T-shirt ($15)
A portion of the proceeds will go to the "Begin Again Foundation".
Order T-shirts from the MCS School Store by Thursday, January 26 | 11:59 PM. Orders will be available for pick-up on February 2 or at the door prior to the game on February 3.
