Early Education (Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten)

THE EAGLES NEST PRESCHOOL

As a trusted Groveport preschool, we provide a joyful and secure environment where children are known, loved, and encouraged to grow. Our early education program allows children to explore the wonder of God’s world while developing character, confidence, and a love for learning under the care of our qualified teachers. Madison Christian School's Preschool is licensed by the Ohio Department of Education Division of Early Childhood Education.

We believe early childhood is a sacred season for forming hearts and habits. Through purposeful play, rich language, meaningful stories, and gentle structure, our Christian preschool in Groveport lays a strong foundation for lifelong learning and faith. Like eaglets in the nest, children at The Eagles Nest are carefully nurtured — so when the time comes, they are prepared to spread their wings and soar into Kindergarten.

How are we preparing for Kindergarten?

  • Spiritual Formation – Introducing children to biblical truth through Scripture, prayer, songs, and stories, helping them understand that all learning is rooted in God’s truth.

  • Habit Formation – Cultivating attentiveness, obedience, self-control, kindness, and responsibility through consistent routines and gentle guidance.

  • Language & Literacy Foundations – Developing listening skills, vocabulary, phonemic awareness, and a love for stories, poetry, and books through read-alouds and rich language experiences.

  • Early Math & Reasoning Skills – Building number sense, pattern recognition, counting, and problem-solving through hands-on activities and meaningful play.

  • Social & Emotional Readiness – Teaching children how to work cooperatively, resolve conflicts appropriately, respect peers and teachers, and express needs with confidence.

  • Independence & Motor Development – Encouraging fine and gross motor skills, classroom independence, and care

Why do we exist?

Rooted in the Christian faith and guided by a classical approach to education, The Eagles Nest exists to partner with families in nurturing young children in truth, goodness, and beauty.
