Spring Reading Challenge
2026 Spring Break Reading Challenge
The Goal is to out-read other grades in your bracket!
How does it work? Read during Spring Break and record your reading on your reading log. You must fill out the reading log and include your parents' initials.
K-2nd will read for 20-minute intervals, and 3rd-5th will read for 30-minute intervals. This makes tallying the total much simpler.
Return your log to your classroom teacher on Tuesday, April 7th. Mrs. Johnson and her assistants will tally every grade’s minutes. The grade that has the most minutes wins! There will be a K-2nd winner and a 3rd-5th winner.
What’s the prize? The winning grade will receive an extra recess and a popsicle. Each student who participates will receive a coupon to Cane’s for a free kid’s meal.
