Sports Physicals

OhioHealth Sports Medicine offers sports physicals to student-athletes of any middle schools, high schools, or school districts that partner with OhioHealth during May/June each year. These physicals are station-based physical exams administered by athletic trainers and fellowship-trained sports medicine team physicians. They are meant for athletes with relatively "clean" medical histories, and they are used to screen for and detect medical or physical conditions that may put the student-athlete at risk for future problems.

Any athlete who is currently under the care of their primary care physician (PCP) for a medical condition/injury/illness, or those with previously diagnosed medical conditions/injuries/illnesses, especially cardiac conditions that might preclude or limit participation in sports, is advised to get the medical exam from their PCPs.

OhioHealth offers free sports physicals each spring to all Sports Medicine affiliated schools, including Madison Christian.

Is your Sports Physical about to expire? Sports physicals last one calendar year and must be completed annually to remain eligible for athletics. Be sure you stay current so you don't miss any tryouts, practices, or games!
