Eagles Nest Preschool

A loving, safe environment where creativity and playful learning meet.

eagle in nestOur primary goal at this age is to help children experience the fun and joy that lead to an early excitement about learning. Our Christian preschool and pre-kindergarten programs promote academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development in a safe, Christ-centered environment. Madison Christian School's Preschool is licensed by the Ohio Department of Education Division of Early Childhood Education.

Set on a 64-acre campus in southeast Columbus, our early childhood development program allows for children to explore new worlds under the care and guidance of our qualified teachers. Additionally, our preschool-12th grade school allows for continuity of studies which eliminates the need to transfer to multiple school systems. Our program develops language and cognitive reasoning skills while ensuring a fluid transition into our Kindergarten Program.

"We have worked hard to build the bridge from our Eagles Nest Preschool to our Kindergarten to ensure our students are academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually prepared for the transition." - Alice Brooks, Primary & Elementary School Principal

What We Believe

Madison Christian School teachers and staff believe children are a precious gift from the Lord. Psalm 127:3 states “Sons (and daughters) are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him.”

Eagles Nest Preschool exists for the following purposes:
  • To teach children God's love and His works: Bible stories, character qualities of Christ, songs, and scripture are emphasized daily.
  • To develop self-worth: "You are special because God made you!"
  • To increase verbal skills by encouraging children to use words when interacting with others.
  • To introduce academic readiness skills: Students are exposed to many learning experiences and mastery of each skill comes when the child is developmentally ready.
  • To develop a positive attitude toward school and learning.
